Now you find yourself wondering what will happen after liposuction, and you have a lot of questions that need answering. You’re looking forward to your improved appearance after liposuction, but what else should you be anticipating?
- Depending upon whether your liposuction is performed in a hospital or a clinic, you’ll either spend the night in the hospital or go home a few hours after liposuction. If your doctor has told you to expect to go home, be sure you have someone available to drive you home. You won’t feel like driving, nor should you attempt to drive, right after liposuction.
- Be sure to check with your doctor about resuming work and other normal activities after liposuction. The advice on this matter will depend somewhat on the amount of fat removed, and your general post-surgical condition.
